Lloyd Loom is the name of a unique braided materi­ al, which consists of a steel wire wound in kraft pa­ per. The production itself is a very unique pro­ ess, c which dates from 1917, where the American Marschall B. Lloyd got the patent for this process. In 1922 the English company „Lusty Lloyd Loom“ got the license for the manufacturing in Europe, since then the com­ pany has designed most of the classic „wicker chair models“, which are still available on the market.
