MASS TIMBER WATERPROOFING DURING CONSTRUCTION Transparent self-adhered membrane for the moisture protection of mass timber elements Wetguard 200 SA protects mass timber elements from moisture damage during construction. Its water-repellent carrier is lined with an anti-slip coating to keep workers safe while walking across wet surfaces. The self-adhered membrane can be factory applied for increased quality control and added protection during transport or installed on site. • Mark course using a chalk line or pencil and orientate roll • Remove larger backing and adhere the first 1-2 ft while ensuring straight application • Apply next course with a minimum overlap of 4". Use split backing for easy alignment • Gradually remove backing while pressing on using a broom, squeegee, or J-Roller • Seal transitions and panel joints on site using Wetguard 200 SA 15" roll or wider • Clean wood surface from dust and loose material All SIGA products are backed by a 10-Year Limited Warranty.
