Installation Overview
This document provides installation instructions for Siemens Building Technologies' BC43, BC34-EM, and BC43-Cotag systems. These systems are part of the SiPass Entro security solution, designed for use with door controllers DC22, DC12, and DC800.

Connection Instructions

BCLink Connection: Establish a connection between the door controller (DC22 or DC12) and the BC4 magnetic card reader or BC4 Prox/EM proximity reader, with a maximum distance of 100 meters.
Entry/Exit Configuration: Set the link to 'Entry' if the BC4 is used for entrance and 'Exit' if used for exit.
Tamper Switch Control: Set links to 'Internal' when part of a SiPass Entro system, prohibiting connections on terminals 5 and 6. Set to 'External' when connected to BC45/40 systems.
Screen Connection: Connect the screen for long distances or in environments with potential interference.
External Tamper Switch: Terminals 5 and 6 are for external tamper switch connections, used only in Bewacard installations.
