Archttects Richard L Bowen & Associates Inc. were hlred to develop a one-of-a-kind tension fabric structure that was both practlcal and unlquely beautlfuL They In turn worked wltti Gelger Engineers to turn thte vision Into reallty. The complex, located strateglcally on the Cuyahoga River bank and adjacent to the shores of Lake Erle. presented a dlfflcult set of challenges Because of lis location, It was necessary to develop a system that would allow the materlal to be attached to the support ples before they were llfted Into place. Shelter-RIte fabric Style 9034 DC 184 was chosen because of the strength and flexJblilty it provides, assurlng that It would stand up to th鴨se stresses as well as excessive wlnds and snow that are common to thls locale. In addition, a Brlght White flnlsh was applled to the top of the fabric maklng It rtually setf-cleanlng and rsistant to the deterloratlng effects of UV rays.
