Product catalog summary
Technical Specifications
The SEPLUX polycarbonate panel is a 16 mm triple-wall panel with a width of 333.3 mm. It has a maximum transportable length and weighs 2.80 kg/m2. The panel offers 78% light transmission and a heat transmittance of K = 1.95 (Kcal/h m2 °C) or U = 2.29 W/(m2 K). It has a minimum bending radius of 3200 mm and a linear expansion of 0.065 mm/m °C. The service temperature range is from -40° to +120° °C, and it has a fire reaction classification of Class B S1 d0. Available colors include transparent, opal, smoke, blue, and green.
Product Features
The SEPLUX 16 panel is a modular multi-wall panel with a tongue-and-groove joint, co-extruded in polycarbonate with UV protection on one side. It is guaranteed for 10 years against aging. The panel is ideal for walling, sheds, and strip windows due to its simple joint and planarity. However, it is not recommended for inclined and arched roofs; for such applications, Seplux 20 Plus or Seplux 40 is suggested.
Vertical Application
SEPLUX 16 panels are suitable for vertical closures such as sheds, vertical glazing, and partitions with a free span not exceeding 170 cm and a load resistance of approximately 60 kg/m2. For greater heights and higher loads, panels should be fastened to the structure using specific stainless steel hooks without drilling. The panels are supplied in modular co-extruded multi-wall polycarbonate with a size of 333 mm, UV-protected on one side, and a thickness of 16 mm. They feature a flush fitting, triple wall, and tongue-and-groove joint.
Resistance and Fastening
The panels can withstand a maximum deflection of 1/50 of the span with a free span of 170 cm and a structure pitch of 100 cm. A detail of the panel joint with a stainless steel hook is provided for vertical fastening.
