Product Overview: FIBRODUR is an opaque laminate composed mainly of polyester resin and glass fibres, reinforced with special components. It is designed to be shock-resistant, corrosion-proof, and fire-resistant (B2 DIN 4201). The material withstands temperature variations from -30°C to +150°C and is suitable for industrial, agricultural, and poultry farm
roofing, as well as renovation work.
Specifications: FIBRODUR sheets are available in various
profiles and colors, including tile-red, dark green, and white. The sheets come in thicknesses of ±1 to 2mm, lengths of 2000, 2500, 3000, and 6000mm, and widths of 900, 920, and 1050mm. They are lightweight, rot-proof, and have a low expansion rate.
Installation Recommendations: Sheets should be cut to the required length using shears or a fine-toothed saw. They should be laid across roof crossbeams with an overlap of one or two corrugations. Rust-proof fasteners should be used, spaced every three or four corrugations, and moderately tightened. The edge of the sheets should be fixed at the gutter every two corrugations. Good ventilation is essential to prevent overheating.
Technical Properties: The sheets have a water absorption rate of 0.2%, flexural strength of 230 N/mm², tensile strength of 50.2 N/mm², modulus of elasticity of 6600 N/mm², shock resistance of 1200 J, and ignition loss of 61.5 wt.%. They are non-leaking and fire-resistant according to DIN 4102 standards.
Maintenance: Cleaning can be done using a pressure pump at reduced pressure with cold water. The sheets should be stored and transported flat, sheltered from humidity and the sun, and covered with an opaque tarpaulin to prevent the greenhouse effect.
Guarantee: SEDPA offers a 10-year guarantee for FIBRODUR sheets, provided installation and usage conditions are met. The guarantee covers free replacement of goods broken during the guarantee period, subject to proof of purchase and adherence to installation guidelines.
Applications: FIBRODUR is ideal for industrial, agricultural, and poultry farm roofing, canopies, carports, and sheds. It offers a good quality-price ratio, withstands climatic variations, and is easy to use, especially for curved roofs.
