Railway sleepers from Egypt EPH tested the material for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH). The sample taken is classified in category 1: „Materials in toys having normal and prolonged skin contact (longer than 30 s)“. An extract of the test report is given below. The complete test report is available on request (in German language). The use of the sleepers indoors is therefore unproblematic.
