COCO – INSPIRED VENEER Different and permanently beautiful in 4 brown shades 3 CoCo is a premium veneer in attractive warm shades of brown. It is produced from genuine wood using environmentally friendly processes. We use a gentle manufacturing technique that’s similar to the natural process that creates bog oak. In that preservation process, fossilized oak lay in a bog for millennia. The tannic acid in the wood lying in acidic anaerobic wetlands reacts with marsh gases to create the rich dark brown to black coloring. The wood’s structure and stability are also preserved. In the making of CoCo, we accelerate the veneer’s natural change of color and stain the wood completely. Unlike smoked oak, CoCo can be produced in light and medium shades of brown. The environmentally friendly process creates premium veneer that contains no harmful substances. The veneer also remains supple as it is not exposed to extreme heat during processing. CoCo veneer can be used anywhere, including work surfaces in the kitchen and tables in the dining room. The low emission rates allow an open surface area and require no special safety measures during veneer processing.
