Product catalog summary
Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the assembly and use of a wood-burning stove from a leading European manufacturer, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Technical Data
The stove complies with EN 13240 standards, with an efficiency of 85% and a nominal output of 5.7 kW. It requires a chimney with a minimum internal diameter of 148 mm and a length of at least 5 meters.
Installation
Installation must adhere to national and local building regulations, with professional installation recommended for safety and functionality. Inspection by a local chimney sweep is advised.
Safety
Modifications or use of non-approved accessories can compromise safety. Ensure all necessary parts are intact for operation.
Assembly
Tools required include a spirit level, cordless drill, and rubber hammer. The stove includes loose parts and accessories like floor plates and heat-storage stones.
Instructions for Use
Proper use involves managing baffle plates, ash containers, and combustion air. The top-down lighting method is recommended for efficiency.
Heating Instructions
Environmentally friendly operation is emphasized, with warnings against over-firing and recommendations to adjust use according to weather conditions.
Fuel Handling
Only approved wood types should be used, ensuring proper storage and moisture content. Illegal fuels are prohibited.
Maintenance
Regular chimney sweeping and stove cleaning are necessary. Check gaskets and painted surfaces periodically. Service the stove every two years using original spare parts.
Troubleshooting
Common issues include smoke escaping, wood burning too quickly, soot build-up, and poor heating performance, with solutions provided.
Warranty
The product comes with a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects, excluding wear and tear parts, external damage, and improper use.
Fresh Air Intake
In well-insulated homes, ensure a supply of fresh air for combustion. The external wall vent should be near the stove and closable when not in use. Compliance with building regulations is required.
Closed Combustion System
Recommended for airtight homes, this system uses external air through a ventilation pipe, with specifications for pipe diameter and length.
Heat-Storage System
Heat-storage stones extend the stove's warmth by releasing stored heat after the stove is off.
Wood Selection and Preparation
Use hardwoods like oak and beech for optimal heating. Wood should be cut to fit the combustion chamber and stored properly to ensure low moisture content.
Prohibited Fuels
Avoid using painted, pressure-impregnated, glued wood, and other hazardous materials as fuel.
Combustion Chamber Lining
The lining includes chamotte plates, a grate, and baffle plates, which are not covered by warranty.
Cleaning and Disposal
Clean the stove with a dry cloth and dispose of parts appropriately, following guidelines for recycling and waste treatment.
