Product catalog summary
Introduction
This document provides essential information for the installation, operation, and maintenance of a wood-burning stove from a leading European manufacturer. Proper adherence to the manual ensures optimal use and longevity of the stove.
Technical Data
The stove meets EN 13229 standards with an efficiency of 85% and an energy efficiency class of A+. It has a nominal output of 5.7 kW and requires a chimney with a minimum internal diameter of 148 mm.
Installation
Installation must comply with national and local building regulations. It is recommended to have the installation inspected by a local chimney sweep and performed by a professional fitter for safety and optimal functionality.
Safety
Modifications or use of non-supplied accessories can impair safety. The stove should not be installed in flammable materials without appropriate firewalls and heat shields.
Assembly
The foundation must support the stove's weight, and a non-flammable floor plate is required if placed on a flammable floor. The chimney must be at least 5 meters long.
Instructions for Use
Use the top-down lighting method for efficient combustion. Ensure proper air supply and avoid over-firing to maintain performance and safety.
Maintenance
Regular chimney sweeping and stove cleaning are necessary. Periodically check gaskets and painted surfaces for wear.
Troubleshooting and Warranty
Refer to the troubleshooting section for common issues. The stove comes with a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, excluding wear parts like liners and gaskets.
Specifications and Procedures
The document details technical specifications and procedures for installation and operation, including fresh air intake systems and closed combustion systems. It provides instructions for mounting heat shields and convection covers.
Fresh Air Intake and Closed Combustion System
In well-insulated homes, ensure a fresh air supply for combustion. The document specifies the diameter for fresh air connections and recommends a closed combustion system in airtight homes.
Mounting Instructions
Instructions for mounting heat shields and convection covers emphasize proper air circulation for effective heat distribution.
Instructions for Use
Environmentally friendly operation is emphasized, advising against reducing the stove to the point where no flames are visible. The "top down" lighting method is recommended for efficient combustion.
Continuous Operation
Maintaining a high temperature in the combustion chamber is crucial for optimal performance and clean combustion.
Specifications and Recommendations
Use the correct amount and type of wood for optimal performance. The combustion air flow should be fully open to ensure quick ignition.
Chimney Function and Maintenance
The chimney is vital for stove performance, requiring regular maintenance to ensure proper function and safety.
Fuel Handling
Hardwoods like beech and ash are recommended for their high calorific value. Wood should be dry, with a moisture content of 15-18%.
Maintenance and Servicing
Regular cleaning and servicing are recommended. The combustion chamber lining and gaskets are not covered by warranty and should be replaced as needed.
Troubleshooting
Common issues include smoke escaping and soot build-up, with solutions involving air valve adjustments and using dry wood.
Warranty Information
The 5-year warranty covers manufacturing defects but excludes wear parts. It is void in cases of improper installation or unauthorized repairs.

FRESH AIR INTAKE In a well-insulated house the air used for the combustion process has to be replaced. This particularly applies to houses with mechanical ventilation. There are different ways of making sure that air is exchanged. The most important thing is to ensure that there is a supply of air to the room where the built-in stove is located. The external wall vent must be located as close to the stove as possible, and you must be able to close it when you are not using the stove. National and local building regulations must be followed with regard to connection of a fresh air intake. The...
