Description SSP-1200E (also referred to as System 12) is part of the Savant family of modular matrix switchers and controllers. Its flexible design allows the SSP-1200E to be fieldupgraded by adding audio processing modules, or audio and video input and output modules based on the needs and complexity of installations. Audio and video switching, and audio processing features and capabilities are based on specific configurations and available by ordering the appropriate optional modules (outlined on the last page of this document). Based on the modular design, up to 12 x 12 HD video switching or 48 x 48 audio only switching is supported per SSP-1200E. Design Considerations for SSP-1200E The SSP-1200E provides nine sending video paths and nine receiving video paths (HDMI or Component), nine Sony/ Philips Digital InterFace (S/PDIF) paths (HDMI, Audio, Coax or TOSLink), and 48 stereo paths.
