Weather Resistant Location Boxes Feature Summary The Humid/Damp Location Keypad Box is designed to protect the keypad from mild moisture conditions (not intended for direct water contact). The clear plastic lid allows for visibility of keypad engraved buttons while the almond backing conceals wiring. For increased protection a gasket mounting seal is included. This is a surface mount box, which accommodates single gang column and wide mount keypads. The Waterproof/Wet Location Keypad Box is designed to protect keypads from water damage such as keypads mounted in an outdoor environment in direct contact with elements such as a boat dock or near beaches. The all- metal construction adds increased durability. The flange sinks flush with the wall leaving only 4 inch door protruding from the wall.
