Acrisyl Light

Product catalog summary
Product Overview: Acrisyl Light is a high-performance, lightweight acrylic-siloxane coating designed for exterior walls. It offers mildew and mould resistance with a grain size of 1.5 mm. The product is notable for its reduced weight, high yield, flexibility, and excellent adhesion, making it suitable for both traditional and ETICS-insulated surfaces.
Technical Specifications: The coating is based on acrylic polymers with siloxane modification, featuring mineral fillers and marble grits. It has a pasty consistency with a specific gravity of 1.40±0.05 kg/l. It is classified as Class A2 s1 d0 for fire reaction and has low water permeability and high water vapor permeability.
Application Instructions: Acrisyl Light can be applied to various surfaces, including ETICS, new and old plasters, concrete, and mineral conglomerates. Surfaces must be prepared by cleaning, repairing, and priming as necessary. The product should be applied in temperatures between +8°C and +35°C, with a relative humidity of less than 75%. It is ready to use, with a recommended spreading rate of 1.8 - 2.1 kg/m².
Surface Preparation: Surfaces should be dry, cured, and free from efflorescence and grime. Cracks and irregularities must be filled and leveled. Primers such as IDROFIS, ISOMARC, or ATOMO should be applied depending on the substrate condition.
Storage and Safety: The product should be stored between +5°C and +30°C and used within two years of manufacture. It contains a maximum of 40 g/l VOC and is harmful to aquatic life. Safety standards must be followed during transport, use, and storage.
Tinting and Mixing: Colors can be achieved using the COLORADO series 548 colorants. It is recommended to mix batches to avoid shading differences and use material from the same batch for consistency.
Environmental Considerations: The product's anti-mould and anti-algae properties are sacrificial and influenced by environmental conditions. Proper application and protection are necessary to maintain performance.

Acrisyl Light LIGHTENED ACRYLIC-SILOXANIC COATING WITH HIGH PERFORMANCE MILDEW/MOULD INHIBITING, GRAIN 1.5 San Marco Group Spa www.san-marco.com SAN MARCO GROUP Via Alta 10/A - 30020 Marcon (Venezia), Italia SERIES 434 ACRISYL LIGHT - V.2024-09-23 Fibrous wall coating for exteriors with an innovative formulation that combines the traditional strength and durability of acrylic-siloxane coatings with numerous properties deriving from the product's special microcellular structure: - Highly lightweight, up to 25% less weight per m2 compared to a product of the same grain. This facilitates application, handling on site and makes work less tiring. • High yield per kg, resulting in reduced on-wall weight. • Flexible, allowing compression and shock absorption. • Adheres instantly to the substrate, preventing product wastage and keeping the ground of the work-sites clean. • Excellent water vapour permeability and water repellency: it lets rainwater run-off and resists the absorption of dirt/grime, meaning walls remain clean for a long time. • In the lighter shades, it reflects the sun's action, thus reducing the temperature of the walls. • Very compact finish with high levelling power, ideal for uneven surfaces. Suitable for both traditional surfaces and those insulated with the ETICS system, particularly suitable for restoring thermal-insulation systems. TECHNICAL - Nature of binder: acrylic polymers with siloxane modification in water emulsion SPECIFICATIONS - Pigments and fillers: mineral fillers, marble grits, lightening additives - Solvent: water - Viscosity: pasty consistency - Alkali resistance UNI 10795: alkaliproof - Classification of reaction to fire EN13501-1: Class A2 s1 d0 Referred to a consumption not exceeding that indicated, and to an application on a non-combustible surface.
