SHEERFILL® Fabrasorb I Fabrasorb is an acoustically absorptive membrane that is used as a liner in SHEERFILL® Architectural Membrane systems, as well as in structures built with traditional "hard" materials like glass or brick. Fabrasorb serves not only to attenuate sound but also to enhance the thermal characteristics of fabric roof systems. Fabrasorb materials are translucent, non-burning, porous composites based on fiberglass and PTFE. All SHEERFILL® membranes conform to rigid fire and building codes for permanent structures.
