Signposts and bollards equipped with the patented Augustaflex® technology appear like traditional fixed structures. However, in the event of a collision, they do not deform or break. The Augustaflex® system allows for a bending angle of 40° or 90° upon impact, promptly returning to the upright position. Augustaflex® signposts and bollards bend only in the case of sufficiently strong impacts, such as car collisions, but remain vertical during human interactions and gusts of wind. Application: ■ impact zones, critical places with high frequency of damage ■ parking lots, loading zones, turns of roads, narrow streets ■ pedestrian zones and residential areas, inconvenient areas for manoeuvres Characteristics: ■ Optimal strength level: Augustaflex bollards bend only upon car impact starting from 8kNm2 and remain vertical in case of human interactions. ■ Up to a 90° bending angle upon impact in any direction; the bollard returns immediately to the upright vertical position. ■ Resistant to high-speed collisions. ■ Available in steel or stainless steel (INOX) material. ■ Diameter options: Ø60.3mm / Ø76mm, customizable. ■ Three installation variants: surface or ground sleeve installation.
