It is environmentally friendly and offers greater dimensional stability. Key advantages include its elegant appearance, availability in common groove patterns, and compliance with PS 1 standards.

Select Veneer
Select Veneer offers a choice of Douglas Fir, Southern Pine, or Radiata Pine face veneers, excellent for further finishing. It shares similar environmental benefits and stability as Breckenridge, with FSC Certified Panels available. It meets APA performance standards and PS 1 standards.

DuraTemp Siding
DuraTemp features a tough hardboard face that resists splitting and cracking, with a natural rough sawn cedar appearance. It is easy to paint and withstands exposure to elements, offering a 50-year limited warranty. It meets ICBO/ICCES and HUD-UM-40C standards.

Specifications
All products are available in various groove patterns, lengths, widths, and thicknesses, with APA & PS 1 specifications. They use exterior, fully water-resistant phenolic glue and have approved span ratings for different thicknesses.

Finishing
Proper finishing is crucial for protection and appearance. An acrylic-latex paint system is recommended, with primer and two finish coats. Spray application is not recommended.

Storage and Installation
Siding should be stored indoors or covered if outdoors. Installation requires specific nailing patterns and spacing to accommodate expansion. A vapor barrier is recommended on the warm side of the wall.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential to preserve the siding's life and appearance. Reapply protective coatings when necessary, ensuring a minimum of two mils dry coat thickness for solid finishes.
