Construction
The panel includes a "B" Plug Fir substrate beneath the overlay for a smooth surface. Innerplies and backs are "C" grade or better, providing strength and rigidity.

Storage and Handling
To maintain quality, DuraGard should be stored dry, preferably in a warehouse or under a roof. If stored outdoors, cover loosely with protective material. Panels should be painted when exposed to weather or humidity, using a primer and finish coat from the same manufacturer.

Machining & Installation
DuraGard can be sawn, nailed, routed, shaped, and drilled using sharp, high-speed tools. Secure fastening is recommended with specific nail sizes depending on panel thickness. Maximum support spacing is 24 inches on center, with a 1/16-inch gap between panel edges.

Certifications
Manufactured to meet or exceed APA performance standards and PS 1 standards for veneer grades, glue and bond durability, and other requirements.
