Recycling Facility
The recycling plant is located at the Bridgend factory, providing a state-of-the-art facility for contractors and builders to recycle ROCKWOOL® insulation. This reduces landfill dependency and the demand for virgin raw materials.

Recycling Programme
ROCKWOOL® accepts uncontaminated ROCKWOOL® waste at its Bridgend and Nottingham locations. Accepted materials include off-cuts and used stone wool insulation with specific facings. Non-ROCKWOOL® insulation or contaminated waste is not accepted. Waste can be packaged in clear plastic bags, on pallets, or in skips, and must be transported by a licensed carrier.
