Canne fumarie singola parete SP - SP Single wall flues 5. For positive pressure (class P1) and low temperature (up to 200°C) working conditions, Roccheggiani offers both the SPG series, made of AISI 316L (1.4404) stainless steel and SPGV series made of antique finish copper painted AISI 316L stainless steel; both the models are provided with a “triple lip” silicone gasket which ensures a perfect tightness between separate elements. The SP series, available in AISI 316L (1.4404) stainless steel, and, on request, in AISI 304 (1.4301) stainless steel represents the complementary solution to SPG series for thermal plants with high fumestemperature, fireplaces and wood stoves, and is suitable for negative pressure (class N1) and high temperature (up to 600°C) working. The SPG and SP series are made up of rigid elements, therefore suitable for applications in which the course of the skylight shaft is well defined and linear; for the renewal of pre-existent skylight shafts with irregular courses, Roccheggiani provides the Flex flexible flues, whose leading product is the “double structure” TDX series, with smooth internal wall, made of AISI 316L stainless steel. The single wall product range also includes: - PP polypropylene flues: rigid liners (SPL series) and flexible liners (PPS series), for ducted systems serving condensation boilers. - black painted stainless steel flues (SPV/ SPGN series), for fumes exhaust from wood stoves and fireplaces. This catalogue represents a technical and informative support providing the characteristics of the single wall series: dimensional graphs, installation instructions, specifications and designs provide all the necessary information to set up a flue-system in conformity with the provisions in force. 5. Single wall flues The single wall system products find their main application both in the building renewal and adjustment of old chimneys to the new plant require-ments and in the ventilation vapour exhaust; moreover, the single wall system products follow the growing spread of forced-draught and condensing heat generators, the features of which make it essential for flues to be sealed. According to the product standards which regulate the CE mark on the single wall metal chimneys (EN 1856-1, EN 1856-2), the single wall systems can be used both as a liner inside the old chimneys or the skylight shafts, and as a chimney system on the building outside if applied on condensation boilers with emission in atmosphere of low temperature fumes (about 40-50°C) in positive pressure. Moreover the rigid single wall flues can also be used in the sub-horizontal linking tract (connecting flue pipe) between the heat generator and the vertical chimney.
