- 12 - E N G L I S H 5. INSTALLATION OF THE STOVE GENERAL INFORMATION . The unit must be connected to a chimney approved for solid fuels. The chimney must have a diameter of at least 120 mm. . The smoke extraction system is based on negative pressure in the combustion chamber and a slight excess pressure in the flue gas outlet. Therefore it is important that the flue connection is installed correctly and airtight. Only use heat-resistant sealing materials as well as corresponding sealing strips, heat-resistant silicon and rock wool. Assembly may only be performed by authorised specialist...

- 13 - E N G L I S H COMBUSTION AIR Every combustion process requires oxygen or air. This combustion air is taken from the living space without an external combustion air connection for single stoves. This air removed must be replaced in the living space. Very tightly sealed windows and doors in modern flats may mean that too little air replaces that used. The situation also becomes problematical due to additional venting in flats (e.g. in the kitchen or WC). If you cannot feed in external combustion air, then air the room several times a day to prevent negative pressure in the room or poor...

Non-observance of these regulations makes void all warranty and guarantee claims and may impair the safety of the unit! Your pellet stove cannot overheat if operated correctly. However incorrect operation may shorten the service life of the electrical components (blower, motors and control system) and...
