- Air Tightness: Class 1 to 4 (150 Pa to 600 Pa) (EN 12208)
- Water Tightness: Class 1A to E (0 Pa to 900 Pa) (EN 12208)
- Wind Load Resistance: Class 1 to Exxx (> 2000 Pa) (EN 12211; EN 12210)
- Wind Load Resistance to Frame Deflection: Class A (≤ 1/150), B (≤ 1/200), C (≤ 1/300)
- Burglar Resistance: WK 1, WK 2, WK 3 (NEN 5096)
Performance Notes:- The Uf-value indicates the thermal insulation efficiency; lower values represent better insulation.
- The sound reduction index (Rw) measures the frame's sound reduction capability.
- Air tightness is assessed by the volume of air passing through a closed window at specific pressures.
- Water tightness is tested by applying water spray at increasing pressures until penetration occurs.
- Wind load resistance evaluates the structural strength against simulated wind forces.
- Burglar resistance is tested through statistical and dynamic loads and simulated break-in attempts.
