Overview: The CP 50 is an insulated sliding system designed to meet modern demands for insulation, aesthetics, and security. It features an outer rail with invisible drainage and discrete water channeling, with a softline look for the frame and vent.
Technical Characteristics:- Style Variants: Available in 2-rail and 3-rail options.
- Visible Width/Height: Frame: 47.2 mm; Horizontal Vent: 67.3 mm; Vertical Vent: 69.7 mm; T-profile: 64.5 mm; Meeting Section: 34 mm.
- Overall System Depth: Frame: 50 mm (2-rail), 92.4 mm (3-rail); Vent: 33 mm.
- Rebate Height: 18 mm.
- Glass Thickness: 6/24/25/26 mm.
- Glazing Method: Uses EPDM in accordance with the envelope principle.
- Thermal Insulation: Utilizes 16 mm, 26 mm, and 30 mm fiberglass reinforced polyamide strips.
Performance:- Thermal Insulation: Uf-value ranges between 3.4 W/m²K and 4.9 W/m²K, depending on the frame/vent combination.
- Air Tightness: Tested according to EN 1026; EN 12207, with classes ranging from 1 (150 Pa) to 4 (600 Pa).
- Water Tightness: Tested according to EN 1027; EN 12208, with classes from 1A (0 Pa) to E (>600 Pa).
- Wind Load Resistance: Tested according to EN 12211; EN 12210, with classes from 1 (400 Pa) to Exxx (>2000 Pa) for pressure, and deflection classes A (≤ 1/150), B (≤ 1/200), C (≤ 1/300).
Key Notes:- The lower the Uf-value, the better the thermal insulation.
- Air tightness measures the volume of air passing through a closed window at a certain pressure.
- Water tightness involves applying water spray at increasing pressure until penetration occurs.
- Wind load resistance measures structural strength against simulated wind force.
