RESOLTECH 2040G ECO is a structural adhesive paste designed for wood and composite bonding, particularly effective for fillet joints. The system includes two biobased hardeners, 2045G ECO (standard) and 2049G ECO (fast), which can be mixed for adjustable pot life. Mixing Ratio
The mixing ratio for both systems (2040G ECO with either 2045G ECO or 2049G ECO) is 100/25 by weight. Accurate mixing is crucial for optimal performance.

Application
Recommended application temperature is between 18 and 25°C. Lower temperatures increase viscosity and gel time, while higher temperatures decrease them. Hardener 2045G ECO is moisture-sensitive and should be used quickly after opening.

Physical Characteristics
The mix is a brown thixotropic gel, with densities at 23°C of 1.07 for 2040G ECO and 1 for the hardeners. The mix density is 1.06.

Reactivities
Gel time and exothermic peak times vary between the systems, with 2040G ECO/2045G ECO having longer times compared to 2040G ECO/2049G ECO. The exothermic peak temperature is significantly higher for the latter.

Biobased Carbon Content
The biobased carbon content is 60% for 2040G ECO, 29% for 2045G ECO, and 26% for 2049G ECO. The mixed system has a content of 52%.

General Application Conditions
Ensure substrates are dry and clean. Thorough mixing is essential, and mechanical stirring is recommended for large quantities. The product should not be used below 10°C.

Reticulation & Post-Curing
Post-curing at 23°C for 14 days results in different glass transition temperatures (TG) and Shore D hardness for the systems.

Mechanical Properties
Flexural modulus, maximum strength, and elongation vary between the systems, with 2040G ECO/2049G ECO showing higher modulus and strength but lower elongation.

Packaging
Available in metal kits of various sizes: 1kg + 0.25kg, 3.8kg + 0.95kg, and 16kg + 4kg.

Transport & Storage
Store between 10°C and 30°C in a ventilated area. Ensure containers are sealed.

General conditions of application of RESOLTECH 2040G ECO The mixing ratio must be accurately followed. It is not possible to change the ratio, it would result in lower thermo-mechanical properties. Do not use 2040G ECO at a temperature lower than 10°C It is recommended to carry out a test before any industrial application Substrates must be dry and free of grease and dust The mixture should be thoroughly stirred to ensure full homogeneity.
