Introduction
RESOLTECH 1700 ECO / 1706 ECO is a biobased structural lamination epoxy system designed for high-performance lightweight structures using various reinforcements. It complies with REACH regulations and offers excellent wetting properties. The system can cure at room temperature or with a 40°C cure for faster demoulding, achieving optimal properties after a 100°C post-curing cycle. The resin and hardener have biobased carbon contents of 58% and 22%, respectively, reducing the carbon footprint without compromising performance.

Mixing Ratio
The system requires a precise mixing ratio of 100/25 by weight or 100/32 by volume. Mixing should occur at 18-25°C for optimal results. The resin may crystallize under certain conditions but can be liquefied again by heating.

Physical Characteristics
The mixed system is a transparent brown liquid with a density of 1.13 at 23°C. The viscosity at 23°C is 428 mPa.s.

Reactivities
The gel time for a 70mL sample at 23°C is 1h12min, with an exothermic peak temperature of 175.3°C. The biobased carbon content in the mix is 50%.

Reticulation & Post-Curing
To achieve maximum thermo-mechanical properties, specific curing cycles are recommended. The glass transition temperature (TG) and Shore D hardness vary with different curing cycles, reaching up to 98°C TG and 93 Shore D hardness.

Mechanical Properties
Flexion properties vary with curing cycles, with modulus values around 3.00 GPa and maximum strength up to 120.4 MPa.

Packaging
Available in kits of various sizes, including 1kg + 0.25kg and 20kg + 5kg.

Health & Safety
Protective gear is essential to avoid skin and eye contact. Adequate ventilation and respiratory protection are recommended. Full Material Safety Data Sheets are available.

Transport & Storage
Store in sealed containers between 10°C and 30°C in a ventilated area. Check the expiry date on the packaging.
