PREFABRICATED LIGHTWEIGHT CORNICES Prefabricated cornices made by RE.PACK are produced in polystyrene foam, and they are designed to satisfy every customer’s request . They are treated with special cementitious resins, guaranteed by law. We design and carry out every type of cornice, floor marker cornice, window outline, moulding, undergutter cornice and any product by request, for indoor rooms as well as outdoor areas. They are usually delivered in rods of 1.2 mt and they can be cut in the building site with a normal saw. If you use above-mentioned materials you will get several advantages, for example: Durability over time Resistance to impacts Easy laying in any situation Elimination of thermal bridges Lightness Creation through modern technologies STAGES OF LAYING - Cut the cornices according to the using needs - level irregularities in the wall where the cornice should be applied - stick on the wall a linear fillet for anchorage - stick the glue on the back side of the fillet and on the shoulders - stick it on the wall - remove the excess of glue - finish the angles and plaster the joints in order to prevent infiltrations of water We recommend to cover the hole work with external use paint in order to protect the frame as well as possible ITEM OF SPECIFICATION PREFABRICATED LIGHTWEIGHT CORNICES Decorative elements produced by RE.PACK are realized with sintheriized polystyrene foam shapes, self extinguishable, reaction to fire class “E”, already finished with special cementitious resins and ready to be implemented.
