Product Overview
REGUPOL SOUND 17 is an impact and airborne sound insulating underlayment designed for various floor structures, including under screed beds and floating floors. It is suitable for traffic loads of ≥ 5 N/m² and is CE certified.

Material Composition
The product is made from polyurethane-bonded rubber fibres, featuring a dimpled profile on the underside and laminated sheeting on top. Each sheet weighs 9.6 kg, with dimensions of 1,000 mm in length, 1,200 mm in width, and 17 mm in thickness.

Applications
REGUPOL SOUND 17 is applicable for both residential and commercial use, particularly in floor renovations, new buildings, and reconstructions with traffic loads ≥ 5 kN/m².

Certification
The product holds a European Technical Assessment (ETA-10/0057).

Acoustical Performance
For a 120 mm cement screed with REGUPOL SOUND 17 and a 140 mm concrete slab, the sound reduction index (∆Lw) is ≥ 26 dB. With two layers of REGUPOL SOUND 17, the index improves to ≥ 31 dB.

Moisture and Health Protection
The product should be protected from moisture during storage, transport, and installation. It complies with VOC standards and is rated “A+” for low emissions.

Impact Sound Reduction
Detailed test results show an impact sound reduction (∆Lw) of 27 dB for one layer and 31 dB for two layers, as per ISO 717-2.
