Hexagon Design by Nendo HEXAGON is a contemporary interpretation of a form, already known in ancient Greek geometry. The regular six-edged-units are each divided by vertical sheets. Stacked they produce a beautiful rotational symmetry, typical for the HEXAGON, which Nendo cleverly exploits. Nendo Nendo is a design studio founded by Oki Sato and is based in Tokyo, Singapore and Milan. Nendo concentrates on tranquil products and technically advanced research. He realizes small surprises to people through a multidisciplinary practice. In January 2010, an overview of his work was exhibited in The Museum of Arts and Design in New York. Besides designing furniture, Nendo recently designed the exhibition space of the 21th century Museum of Contemporary Art in Japan and concept stores for Issey Miyaka, amongst other designs.
