Description: QUIADSA R-50 is a transparent, single-component insulating membrane based on a new generation silanized polymer. It is solvent-free, isocyanate-free, and silicone-free, and cures at room temperature with humidity.

Properties: The product is transparent, with an application temperature range of +5°C to +40°C and a resistance temperature range of -40°C to +90°C. It is of high quality, easy to handle, has no surface tack when dry, is resistant to aging, UV radiation, and is suitable for both interior and exterior use. It is also low odor and does not shrink.

Applications: It is used for waterproofing terraces, balconies, roofs, drains, shower trays, planters, skylights, chimneys, and buried structures. It can also restore damaged floors, facades, and other construction materials.

Technical Characteristics: The product has a density of 1.10 g/ml, a skin formation time of 75 minutes, and a viscosity of 1,500 ± 500 mPa.s. When cured, it has a hardness of Shore A 80-85.

Adhesion: It has excellent adhesion to porous substrates like concrete, brick, wood, cement, ceramic, and glass, and good adhesion on wet surfaces. It is not compatible with bituminous materials and asphalt fabrics.

Usage Instructions: Surfaces must be firm, clean, and free of dust and grease. It can be applied on wet surfaces directly from the container using a roller or brush in multiple layers, allowing 2 to 6 hours of drying between layers. Air bubbles on porous materials can be removed immediately during application.

Chemical Resistance: The product resists water, aliphatic solvents, diluted inorganic acids and alkalis, oils, and fats. It has poor resistance to aromatic solvents, concentrated acids, and chlorinated hydrocarbons.

Cleaning: Use BRIK-CEN S 890 for cleaning when the product is uncured. Once cured, mechanical cleaning is required.

Performance: The coverage is 500 – 1,500 g/m² depending on surface porosity, with 500 g/m² for non-porous surfaces and 1,500 g/m² for highly porous concrete.

MODO DE EMPLEO Las superficies sobre las que se apliquen deben ser firmes y estar completamente limpias, exentas de polvo y grasa. Puede aplicarse sobre superficies húmedas. Se puede aplicar directamente desde el envase. Aplicar uniformemente sobre la superficie mediante un rodillo o brocha en varias capas según la porosidad del sustrato.
