The lifetime of a brand created by designers and dedicated to design. We all together tried to find a tittle for our story and proposed: “The Design Culture”. Because at Punt - from its establishment to its objectives, and every piece that we have edited- every decision has always followed the same process of thinking: Beyond making furniture, we create “functional emotions” that are part of our everyday life, support our basic needs and soothe our feelings. El año pasado celebramos el 35 aniversario de Punt. Toda una vida de una marca fundada por el diseño y para el diseño. Todos juntos quisimos encontrar el título de nuestra historia y todos juntos la redactamos: “The Design Culture”. Porque desde su fundación hasta su propósito, pasando por cada una de las piezas que Punt ha editado, toda decisión ha respondido siempre a un proceso de reflexión en el que, más allá de fabricar muebles, se crean “emociones funcionales” que nos acompañan en nuestra vida cotidiana, dando soporte a nuestras necesidades físicas y mecen nuestros sentidos. In 2015, the focus was on La Literatura. We celebrated 30 years of awards for this shelf system and for Vicent Martínez, its designer and the founder of Punt Mobles. The path towards the National Design Award was peppered with publications, museums, awards, beautiful projects and the challenge to make every project better than the previous one. En 2015, La Literatura fue la protagonista. Cumplió 30 años de reconocimientos a ella y a su diseñador y fundador de Punt, Vicent Martínez. Publicaciones, museos, premios y bellísimos proyectos marcaron el camino hacia el Premio Nacional de Diseño y el reto a superar en cada proyecto. This year, always following “The Design Culture” motto, we want to honour our designers. Every piece of furniture that they have edited with Punt Mobles is a part of their soul and a present for the world of design. Such important designers as Arik Levy, Monica Armani and Mario Ruiz are going to present their new products for Punt Mobles in the next Milano Fair. Wood and attention to details are the main features of pieces that, as usual for Punt, won’t leave anyone indifferent.
