Product catalog summary
Introduction
Promat TLFR Board® is designed for upgrading the performance of semi-exposed concrete decks in both new constructions and refurbishments. It combines calcium silicate board with Rockwool stone wool insulation to provide fire, thermal, and acoustic insulation, suitable for applications like underground car parks.

Fire Protection
The board is non-combustible, classified as A1 according to BS EN 13501-1, and provides up to 180 minutes of fire protection as per BS EN 1363-1: 1999 and ENV 13381-3: 2002.

Thermal Insulation
When installed on a 150mm concrete soffit, the 136mm board achieves a thermal performance of 0.25 W/m2K, while the 166mm board achieves 0.20 W/m2K, meeting Building Regulations Part L.

Ease of Installation
The board offers an impact-resistant surface that can be decorated. It can be fixed to uneven surfaces without air-gaps, maintaining the ceiling's aesthetic.

Environmental Rating
Rockwool insulation does not contain gases with Ozone Depletion Potential or Global Warming Potential, complying with GWP <5 standards.

Features & Benefits
Includes up to 180 minutes fire protection, excellent thermal and acoustic performance, non-combustibility, impact and moisture resistance, ease of installation, and enhanced BREEAM rating.

Design Detail & Properties
Available in sizes 1200 x 600mm with thicknesses of 136mm and 166mm. The board has a density of 1300 kg/m3 for the facing board and 85 kg/m3 for stone wool, with a natural off-white finish.

Installation
Installation involves starting from a reference slab and using string lines or laser alignment for accuracy. Fixings include ITW Spit Isomet hammer fixings or ITW RoofGrip fixings.

Additional Information
Services should be fixed to the concrete soffit, not directly on the board. The board requires no maintenance and is resistant to mould, chemicals, and pests. It should be stored flat and handled with care.
