However, in the presence of humidity or aggressive substances, the surface may develop superficial oxidation, which can be removed using a standard polishing product. These profiles can be manufactured through either hot extrusion or cold forming from sheets of constant thickness. POLISHED BRASS: This finish is obtained using specialized polishing machines that mechanically enhance the surface without altering the material's intrinsic properties. APPLICATION 1. Choose the PR profile in the desired material and finish; 2. Cut to the desired length; 3. Thoroughly clean the surfaces that will be covered by the profile after installation; 4. Fill the joint space with FIXXTEC or with the adhesive used for laying the floor; 5. Sink the profile into the adhesive, making sure that the profile is level with the coverings to be joined; 6. Apply and maintain uniform pressure for a few minutes along the entire profile to optimize adhesion to the installation surface.
