Reflectatherm Plus

Product catalog summary
Product Overview
Reflectatherm Plus is a high resistance vapour barrier designed to enhance thermal performance in internal walls, ceilings, and floors. It is installed with the foil side facing the cavity to improve thermal resistance and airtightness.
Installation Guidelines
For ceilings, place between rafters and ceiling lining. For floors, position on top of structural decking or insulation and below screed or floor coverings. Sheets should overlap by 150mm and be sealed with tape. Minimize penetrations and seal all joints.
Key Features
  • High vapour resistance and improved airtightness.
  • Creates a service void and an unbroken vapour control layer.
  • R value of 0.79 m²K/W with a minimum 19mm service cavity.
  • Vapour Resistance of 750 MNs/g.
  • Complies with Part L in England and Wales, Section 6 in Scotland.
Performance Data
The U Value Performance Ready Reckoner provides values for different stud sizes and insulation k values, indicating improved thermal performance when using Reflectatherm Plus.
Physical Properties
  • Roll Size: 1.5m x 50m & 3m x 100m.
  • Mass per unit area: 142g/m² (+/- 10 g/m²).

CONDENSATION CONTROL REFLECTATHERM PLUS Reflective Vapour Control Layer DESCRIPTION Reflectatherm Plus is a reflective, high resistance vapour barrier for internal walls, ceilings and floors, specifically designed to enhance the thermal performance when placed on the warm side of the insulation. The membrane should be installed with the foil side facing the cavity. In ceilings the product is placed between the underside of the rafters and the ceiling lining. In floors the product is placed on top of the structural decking or insulation (where present) and below any screed or sensitive floor coverings. Adjacent sheets should be lapped by 150mm and sealed with a suitable tape. Minimise penetrations caused by services and seal all joints.
