ACOUSTIC FLOOR & WALL SOLUTIONS PROFLOOR DYNAMIC STRIP DESCRIPTION Significant improvement in impact sound insulation can be obtained when using Profloor Dynamic Strip System under the chosen floor finish. The use of Profloor Support Strip is recommended around the perimeter of all rooms and in areas such as bathrooms and kitchens where the load could exceed 1.4 kN/m2. The 3rd element of the Dynamic Strip System is the use of a 5mm Profloor Flanking Strip to isolate the acoustic floor from the wall and skirting board. KEY FEATURES • Suitable for situations where batten depth would reduce ceiling to floor height. • Foams do not degrade over time. • Lug fixing eliminates risk of nail penetrating foam when being fixed. • Foam resistant to biological attack. • Improves impact sound. • Fixing lugs reduce the risk of timber to timber squeak. • Dynamic Strip and Support Strip are colour coded (to avoid confusion) • Foams will not delaminate if exposed to moisture. An acoustic insulation strip for new build and the refurbishment of timber joisted floors ADVANTAGES • Ideal for both new build and refurbishment • Significantly reduces impact and airborne noise pollution in multi level buildings. • Supremely versatile, making it suitable for most domestic flooring applications. • Easy and fast to install to wooden joisted floors. • No ‘wet trades’ involved. • Floors can be used immediately after installation. • Warmer floor surface. • Designed to last the lifetime of the floor.
