ACOUSTIC FLOOR & WALL SOLUTIONS PROFLOOR DYNAMIC BATTEN DESCRIPTION Having been used for 20 years on a wide range of timber and concrete floors, the Profloor Dynamic Batten provides excellent levels of impact and airborne sound insulation. The unique dual foam not only provides the performance characteristics but enables minor irregularities in the surface of the sub-floor to be taken up. KEY FEATURES • Robust detail compliant FFT1 & FFT3 • Designed to improve both airborne and impact sound performance. • Foam will not degrade through time unlike some fibrous materials. • Can be used on Timber or Concrete floors. • Moisture resistant impregnated battens are available. • Non-load bearing partitions can be built off the finished floor level. • Foams are resistant to biological attack. • Timber in battens is kiln dried to below 20% moisture content. An acoustic insulation batten for party floors in new build and refurbishment of timber joisted or concrete floors ADVANTAGES • Significantly reduces impact and airborne noise pollution in multi level buildings. • Supremely versatile, making it suitable for most domestic flooring applications. • Easy and fast to install to joisted or concrete floors (pre-cast or in situ) • Floors can be used immediately after installation. • Designed to last the lifetime of the floor. • Non load bearing partition walls can be erected on the finished acoustic floor where a double batten run has been positioned below.
