Procédés Chénel has introduced an innovative approach to recycling paper waste through a project called 'Rosa'. This initiative emerged from a workshop at the MJM Graphic Design school in Rennes, led by teachers Camille Debons and Gaëlle Regeard.
The project involved using materials from Procédés Chénel's Mystère Green boxes. A student, Michelle Bonny, developed a method to create small roses of various sizes from paper waste. This creative solution not only recycles paper but also transforms it into decorative items.
Procédés Chénel has decided to commercialize these paper roses, entrusting their production to prisoners. This decision not only promotes recycling but also supports social reintegration efforts.
The roses are made from DROP PAPER®, which is flame retardant and classified as M1, B1. This ensures that the products are safe for various applications.
The 'Rosa' project exemplifies how creative thinking can give new life to waste materials, contributing to sustainability and social causes.
