DROP CAKE
Drop® Cake is an innovative material created from recycled Drop® Paper waste (60%) and polyethylene waste (40%). This process allows for the recycling of production scraps and decorations after use through shredding and hot pressing.
- Drop® Paper: A non-woven material composed of polyester fiber, cellulose, fiberglass, and binder, fireproofed by scarfing. It has a nominal surface mass of 60 g/m² and a thickness of approximately 0.15 mm. It is classified as M1 in the electric burner test, indicating fire resistance.
- Polyethylene: Produced by extruding low-density polyethylene resin with superior organoleptic properties, sprayed on a 100% cellulose paper covering. Production scraps are reused in panel production.
The panels have a smooth matte appearance with various mixed and random colors. They have a thickness of 8-9 mm and dimensions of 1.00 m x 2.50 m, weighing 7 kg per square meter. They can withstand water exposure for a few weeks.
These panels are versatile and can be used for shelves, tables, walls, stands, partitions, islands, folding screens, working spaces, and small decorative objects.
Drop® Cake is environmentally friendly as it can be recycled endlessly through shredding and hot pressing.
