The safety temperature switch limiter will not deliver pre-mixed water above 38°C. Unlocking of the temperature safety limiter The safety limiter can only be over-ridden by authorized maintenance staff (to perform thermal shock). No need for non-return valves Increased cartridge life span Traditional thermostatic mixers are constantly under pressure. In our thermostatic mixer, the cartridge is only under pressure when it is in opened position, preventing the risk of lime scale, and increasing the life of the cartridge. Easy maintenance The cartridge can be easily replaced without shutting off the water supply. The lever control has to be turned to the closed position. Cold body The hot water flows in the inner part of the body and the cold water through the outer part. There is less contact of hot water with the exterior part of the body and the surface temperature of the mixer allows gripping without scalding the user. *French Scientific and Technical Centre for Buildings The new ingenious combination of the specific ceramic and thermostatic cartridge of this product has resulted in the elimination of the need for non-return valves, which if not maintained can cause the problem of crossconnection between hot and cold water.
