La base girevole è composta da 12 tavole in massello giuntate e in seguito tornite tramite un sapiente lavoro di ebanisteria fino ad ottenere un perfetto tronco di cono sui cui risaltano le venature naturali del massello. La seduta imbottita è il risultato di uno stampo schiumato e di un rivestimento aderente e perfettamente rifinito che crea un guscio morbido e avvolgente. Perfect in a dining room or in a working environment, Romby is a cocoon armchair with impeccable proportions and workmanship, which embraces the body while leaving it free to move, surrounded by a feeling of great lightness. Romby consists of two structural elements featuring well-balanced sizes and materials. The truncated conical base in ash solid wood, natural or black stained, is connected to a soft and compact padded swivel seat. The swivel base is composed of 12 solid wood boards, which are joined and then turned through an exquisite cabinet-making workmanship until a perfect truncated cone is obtained and the natural grain of solid wood stands out. The upholstered seat is the result of foam moulding and of a perfectly finished and tight-fitting cover that creates a soft and enveloping shell. The chair, whose cover cannot be removed, comes in the fabrics, the leathers, the eco-leathers and the nabuk leathers of the Porro Collection. The Romby armchair version rests instead on a swivel base with 4 spokes, always in solid ash natural or black-stained. The 4-spoke base is also available for the chair version of Romby.
