We’ve helped architects and designers to realise stunning floors for hundreds of buildings. We can provide support throughout the project. Our designers can provide visuals and advise colours and product choices, from simple colour suggestions to themed design layouts to fit with the overall schemes. It’s your opportunity to create exciting, stimulating and memorable floor designs.

There’s virtually no limit to the shapes, patterns or pictures you can create with the help of the Polyflor Design Service. Case study - Derby City Hospital Cheery seagulls, giant starfish, seahorses, dolphins and colourful circular waves are among the seaside themed designs inset into the flooring at the new emergency department for children at the Derby City General Hospital. Colourful murals and pieces of artwork depicting sunny seaside holiday scenes further introduce an element of fun and distraction to the unit that was at the heart of the project. We aimed to make the visiting experience more relaxed and friendly, soafter working alongside a team from the hospital, focus groups were held with teenagers and younger children to ascertain their views and ideas. This resulted in a seaside theme using uplifting pastel colours and the colour choices available from Polyflor provided a perfect complement to the contemporary theme used throughout the whole scheme. We can accept anything from a sketch on a notepad, to a fully dimensioned CAD drawing. Ideally we would prefer a jpeg type image but we can handle most file formats. 2) We use up to the minute CAD software together with a sophisticated graphics package. When a design is ordered, we can create a detailed flooring design ready for approval or amendment. 3) Next, we create a cutting program for your design. Polyflor...

We can accept most graphics file formats typically in use. The better the quality of drawing supplied, the more accurately we can re -create your design. If you want to send us a CAD drawing, we prefer DXF or Autocad DWG file formats.

Attention to detail with a hands-on approach Craftsmanship is all about care and attention and we acknowledge this throughout the creative process, from initial drawing stage through to delivery to site. As the design is cut, the various parts of the ‘jigsaw’ are checked and carefully aligned. A special surface tape is applied to hold the design together before packing and delivery.
