Type V vertical strips are designed to be clipped onto a concealed grid and suspended vertically with an open gap of 100, 150, or 200 mm. Heights available are 100, 150, and 200 mm, with lengths on request (minimum 1000 mm, advised maximum 7000 mm). The open area percentage is greater than 80% from a gap of 100 mm.

Important Considerations:
If sprinklers are installed above the suspended ceiling, the total open area of the ceiling, including light fittings, must not be less than 70% of the ceiling plan area according to Section 12.4.14 of NF EN 12845:2004. In practice, an open area greater than 80% is often required for ceiling fixtures.
