ProSlide LT is an economy-grade aluminum landscape edging designed for residential use. It features a sliding connection system for easy installation and a narrow profile for long-lasting aesthetics. It is engineered to outperform plastic edgings, which often require maintenance and are prone to damage.
Specifications
- Sizes: Available in 1/8” thickness by 4” depth, with sections of 8’ or 16’ lengths.
- Finishes: Mill (natural aluminum), Black DuraFlex, Green DuraFlex, and Bronze DuraFlex.
- Stakes: Includes heavy-duty 12” aluminum stakes; 5 stakes per 16’ section, 3 stakes per 8’ section. Longer stakes available.
- Connection: Features a top channel sliding connection system that is stakeless and requires no additional parts.
- Accessories: Grade Change Connector and End Splice Adaptor available.
Technical Data
Manufactured from 6063 Alloy, known for strength, corrosion resistance, and machinability. Aluminum is lightweight, strong, and resistant to UV radiation and combustion.
Installation
- Preparation: Locate underground utilities and mark the border line. Dig a trench 1 inch deeper than the edging bottom.
- Placement: Set edging with the top 1/2 inch above the finish grade. Connect pieces with a 2” overlap and secure with stakes.
- Corners/Angles: Cut edging partially to form corners or angles.
- Backfilling: Backfill and compact material along the edging.
