The Paustian Lounge Series is a collection of furniture designed by the renowned Danish duo, Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen. Known for their focus on creating chairs that reflect the body's sensuality, they have been recognized as leading contemporary designers since 1977.
The duo has designed the stackable 'ASAP Chair' and 'ASAP Table' for Paustian, both of which have won the Red Dot Design Award in 2012 and 2013, respectively.
The Paustian Lounge Series includes a sofa available in two and three-person versions, a chair, and a pouffe. The furniture features a slightly conical shape with slender corner legs, offering high comfort and support. Standard upholstery comes with non-removable covers, with removable options available at an additional cost.
The furniture is constructed with a pine frame and MDF panels, covered in high-resistance foam and compressed nonwovens. Upholstery options include fabric or leather, and the legs are made of cast aluminum.
Available upholstery variants include Remix, Steelcut/Steelcut Trio, Hallingdal, Tango leather, and Savanne leather. Custom material options are also available. Leg finishes include aluminum and powder lacquered in black, white, and aubergine.
Fabric and leather should be cleaned according to supplier recommendations. Legs can be wiped with a dry or damp cloth, followed by drying with a dry cloth.
The frame is disposable as combustible material, and the legs are recyclable.
Standard products come with a five-year guarantee against manufacturing defects, excluding wear or damage. All dimensions are approximate.
