PANEL SANDWICH DESCRIPTION The Herakustik Wood Sandwich Panel provides special protection thanks to its magnesia-reinforced extra-thin chipboard, specially optimized for interior cladding and acoustic absorption. The Herakustik Wood Sandwich Panel consists of a high-density extruded polystyrene insulation core of ± 35 kg/m3, protected by an exterior 16 or 19 mm water-repellent chipboard and an interior 15 or 25 mm Herakustik board. It stands out for its sound-absorbing, water-repellent, fire-resistant properties and insensitivity to fungal and parasitic pests. The production includes thicknesses from 30 to 120 mm, although the most common are 40, 60, 80 and 100 mm, since they provide adequate thermal insulation in most construction sites. For core thicknesses 140, 160, 180 and 200 mm the manufacturing sizes are 2490 X 600 and 2990 X 600 exclusively. * The loads provided in the following document are understood as design loads. * The safety of materials has been made in accordance with DB SE-M (March 2006). In Panel Sandwich Group, we provide in each of our orders self-drilling screws to fit the sandwich panels directly to any structure type at the best price. In the case of a metal structure, the screw must penetrate a minimum of 20 mm, and in wooden construction, a minimum of 60...
