ULTIMA PLUS COMPOUND - 1

ULTIMA PLUS COMPOUND Ultima Plus Compound is the best option for a smooth, manageable application and sliding. It is extremely easy to sand due to its properties of low density ready mix. Ultima Plus is 20% lighter than traditional compounds and it offers a higher coverage and efficiently reduces shrinkage and cracks. Features an excellent adhesion to substrate and its new green formula with low VOC content GREENGUARD certified. The compound is made of vinyl adhesives and other additives: it can be applied directly from the packaging, manually or with mechanical equipment, and meets the ASTM C-475 Standard in accordance to the ASTM C-474 Standard procedures. For your safety, Panel Rey® products do not contain asbestos. PREPARATION Mix contents uniformly without adding water for covering fasteners and corner bead. For taping and finishing joints, thin as necessary by adding clean water especially for use in mechanicals tools. Do not add more that 2% (by weight of product) of water because it may cause cracking and bonding problems. Re-mix uniformly after thinning. Do not mix with other products. This product is manufactured to meet ASTM-C475. Recommended applications: For treating joints, accessories, fasteners and final finishing in corners and edges, it can be used for texturing. General application Cover drywall joint with a thin coat of prepared compound and soak the reinforcement tape, leaving a coat of approximately 1/32"(1mm) under the tape. Drying time may vary depending on the weather conditions, the type of compound and the amount of water. Let dry before applying a second coat, which will cover 2" (5 cm) more in each side of the ends of the first coat. Let dry again and smoothly sand the section with compound.
