The Pagani piezocone is designed for electronic static in-situ tests and is now in its fourth generation. It is available with maximum tip resistance (Qc) of 50 or 100 MPa. The piezocone has a length of 320 mm, a diameter of 35.8 mm, a cone base area of 10 cm², and a weight of 1.8 kg. The opening angle of the bit is 60°, and the side sleeve surface is 150 cm².
Design and Materials
The piezocone features a titanium sensor for side friction (FS) that is highly sensitive and reliable. The central body is made from a special stainless steel alloy, ensuring extreme durability and allowing tests on tough soils. The u2 sensor measures the interstitial pressure of water in the soil and can be saturated with silicone oil or grease.
Construction and Calibration
The construction and calibration process is constantly monitored and conducted in a controlled environment, ensuring exceptional quality and reliability.
