ES SERIEs Electronic speed control for AC direct driven centrifugal fans The ES series is a range of electronic speed controls (TRIAC system), conceived to modulate the rotation speed of direct driven AC fans (AC DD/DS/DP/DF series). Outgoing signal is specially designed, in parallel with our fan construction structure, to avoid the risk of magnetic resonance of the motor. All the ES speed controls are equipped with a general switch and include: • a triac modulated output voltage; • a 230V output voltage . This allows a voltage variation on the main winding only, which reduces the motor’s heat rise and the smoothes the generated sound level. This output can also be used as a power supply for a command circuit. The ESB-3, ESB-5, ESB-10 and ESB-20 are mounted in IP56 waterproof casings. The ES3 can be fitted in a wall.
