PROPINK? Foam Sealant - 1

PROPINK™ Foam Sealant Dispensing Gun Product Data Sheet Application • Dispense slowly. With the dispensing gun aimed into an appropriate waste container, e.g. box, bag, bucket, etc., pull the trigger to purge the gun of any excess air and moisture. Preparation • Screw can onto the dispensing gun until it will not go any further. Do not over-tighten. It will be important to properly align the threads on the can with those on the coupler, failure to do so can result in leakage between the can and dispensing gun around the misaligned threads. • Grip the can and shake well. • Bead can be controlled by depressing the trigger, or by the regulator screw on the back of the dispensing gun. Nothing contained in this bulletin shall be considered a recommendation. • Any humidity inside the dispensing gun will be removed with the extruded foam. • If there is a prolonged interruption in work, shake the dispensing gun with can attached before attempting to reuse. Changing Cans • When a can is completely emptied it must be replaced immediately with a new can. • When storing a dispensing gun, it should always have a pressurized can attached. • Point the dispensing gun into an appropriate waste receptacle (box, bag, bucket, etc.) • Squeeze the trigger when unscrewing an empty can to depressurize the dispensing gun. This will help to prevent backflow of material from the gun coupler • Clean the gun coupler completely before replacing the can. Use solvent for thorough cleaning. • It is recommended to use petroleum jelly on the gun coupler to prevent overtightening. This will help to maintain it in proper working condition and help prevent over-tightening.
