Open the catalog to page 4OVERMANTELS MEDIA FAQS Q) In summary how does it work? A TV is housed within one of our mirror frames. The technical glass allows the screen to be transmitted through it when it’s on, and work as a fully reflective mirror when it’s off - with the TV invisible from all angles. You tell us which model/size of LED TV, and we make the frame to fit perfectly. The TV is hung on the wall and the mirror slides over and is fixed to the wall. The mirror and TV are not bonded and so you can access and change the TV down the line. Q) What is your lead time? 4 - 6 weeks is our typical lead time for your...
Open the catalog to page 5TV FUNCTIONALITY QUESTIONS Q) How good is the SOUND quality? The frame and glass doesn’t block the sound, so you get the same high quality sound you’d get from any other flat screen TV. Some customers elect to augment sound quality using external sound systems for a cinema-like experience. Q) How good is the PICTURE quality? The TV Mirror glass does not affect clarity or brightness. HD and 3D formats are unaffected. We recommend the more recent high series models of Samsung & Panasonic which have very sharp, punchy picture quality. We do caution that the optimum viewing angle is more head...
Open the catalog to page 6INSTALLATION QUESTIONS Q) What about the fitting of the TV and The installation of the TV will take approximately 2 hours for an electrician or audio visual specialist to chase all cables from the TV into the walls to your aerial & technology boxes (DVD/ Sky etc) and then re-seal & repaint with no blemish or dust remaining. We work with a team of audio/visual specialists whom we highly recommend. They do projects all over the UK and internationally. Their typical cost is £250 for labour plus £250 for the full hardware package, which should cover everything you need. For a DIY approach you...
