CONCRETE OIL - 1

PRODUCT INFORMATION | INTERIOR CONCRETE OIL Makes concrete surfaces and unglazed tiles more stain-resistant Product description: Clear, satin impregnation oil, which uniquely combines the advantages of natural oils and waxes in one product, does not form a film on the surface, instead it penetrates the surface. Through the impregnation with Osmo Concrete Oil, the microporous surface becomes water and dirt repellent as well as stain-resistant. Dust resulting from screed and concrete surfaces is greatly reduced. Recommended use: Osmo Concrete Oil is suitable for the clear impregnation of nearly all types of concrete (exposed concrete), artificial stone, screed as well as microporous natural stone with a polished, sanded or break surface as well as for unglazed tiles. Especially suited as wall panelling and flooring in the kitchen and bath as well as for tabletops, windows sills and kitchen worktops. Ingredients: Based on natural plant oils (sunflower oil, soybean oil, thistle oil) and waxes, paraffin, siccatives (drying agents) and water-repellent additives. Dearomatized white spirit (benzene-free). EU VOC limit value for this product: out of scope. Detailed declaration of ingredients available upon request. Technical Data: Viscosity: 130 - 170 mPas Odour: faint/mild, odourless after drying Flashpoint: > 60 °C, acc. DIN EN ISO 2719 pH value: not required Storage: 5 years and longer if stored in the closed original can. If thickened by frost, store at room temperature for 24 hours prior to use. Surface Preparation: The surface must be absorbent, clean, dry and frostfree. Osmo Concrete Oil is ready to use; do not thin. Stir well. Methods of Application: With Osmo Flat Brush, Floor Brush, Oil Finish Applicator Fleece (Hand Pad Holder) or Microfibre Roller, apply very thinly and spread well. Remove any excess product (pooling or streaks) with a pad or a lint-free cloth. For larger areas, remove excess oil with a rubber scraper and polish with a buffing machine (white pad). Important: the liquid oil must be absorbed into the surface. There must not be any oil left on the surface. Allow to dry for 8-10 hours. Ventilate well while drying. Apply the second coat also very thinly. Again, remove any excess. When renovating already oiled surfaces, normally one coat on a cleaned surface is sufficient. Cleaning of tools: With Osmo Brush Cleaner (free of aromatic compounds). Drying time: Approx. 8-10 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23 °C/50 % rel. humidity). Ventilate well while drying. Lower temperatures and/or higher air humidity may increase drying times. Page 1 - Concrete Oil Osmo Holz und Color GmbH & Co.
