The art of beautiful tiles As England’s leading producer of hand crafted tiles, we continue to design and produce our tiles in Devon’s historic city of Exeter. Our team of experienced and highly skilled artists, designers and crafts people create tile patterns and glazes that you’ll adore for years to come.

The alchemy of tile making It all starts with ‘bisques’, blank canvases of moulded clay. It’s what happens next that dictates the end result: firing temperatures and frequency; different glazes and how they react to heat and to each other; hand painting, screen printing and finishing - this is tile making at its finest.

Origin – modern rustic – A collection of chunky, rustic brick tiles that feature muted, milky glazes over a dark base. The bisque interacts with the smooth glaze to create beautiful variations in texture and tone.

Panorama – a striking finish – A rainbow of hues from subtle neutrals to daring blues, with uneven surfaces and a stunning depth and variation of colour. These tiles have a soft glaze which allows for the feel of the bisque to come through each layer, resulting in an artisanal speckled look.
